            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

 

            Chief Warrant Officer Brent S. Cole, 38, of Reedsville, W. Va., died May 22, when his helicopter went down in Tarin Kwot, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1^st Battalion, 82^nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82^nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

 

            The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
