GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that
the President has nominated Maj. Gen. David J. Kelley, U.S. Army,
for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment
as director, Defense Information Systems Agency, Arlington, Va.
Since June 1995, he has served as the vice director, Defense
Information Systems Agency, Arlington, Va.
Kelley was born on Dec. 27, 1943, in Lafayette, La.
