Flag Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) David W. Titley has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Titley is currently serving as oceanographer/navigator of the Navy, Washington, D.C.
Navy Capt. Jonathan W. White has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). White is currently serving as chief of staff to the commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, Stennis Space Center, Miss. |
