General Officer Announcement
The Secretary of Defense announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Maj. Gen. John F. Kelly for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general, and assignment as commander, Marine Forces Reserve/commander, Marine Forces North. Kelly is currently serving as the deputy commanding general, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. |
