GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Gen. William W. Crouch, U.S. Army, for reappointment to the grade of general and assignment as vice chief of staff, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C. Since Dec. 1994, he has served as the commander in chief, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
Crouch was born on July 12, 1941, in Los Angeles, Calif.
