General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Brig. Gen. Jon J. Miller has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Miller is currently serving as chief of staff, U.S. Army Reserve Command, Fort McPherson, Ga.
Army Col. Jeffrey N. Colt has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Colt is currently serving as commander, Joint Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence, Indian Springs Airfield, Creech Air Force Base, Nev. |
