Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Col. Peter A. Deluca has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Deluca is currently serving as commander, U.S. Army Engineer Division North Atlantic, Fort Hamilton Military Community, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Army Col. Robert M. Dyess Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Dyess is currently serving as director, capabilities developments, Army Capabilities Integration Center, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Va.
Army Col. Donald M. MacWillie has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. MacWillie is currently serving as commander, U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Fort Hood, Texas.
