Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Mark L. Tidd, Chaplain Corps, for appointment as chief of chaplains and appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Tidd is currently serving as chaplain of the Marine Corps/deputy chief of chaplains/deputy director of religious ministries, N097B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va. |
