GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Maj. Gen. Michael S. Davison Jr., U.S. Army, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as director, Defense Security Assistance Agency, Washington, DC. Since July 1994, he has served as the commanding general, United States Army Security Assistance Command, Alexandria, Va.
Davison was born on Nov. 19, 1941, in El Paso, Texas.
