Flag Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) William M. Roberts has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Roberts is currently serving as fleet surgeon, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.
Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Thomas C. Traaen has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral. Traaen is currently serving as commander, Defense Distribution Center, Defense Logistics Agency, New Cumberland, Pa.
