Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Navy Capt. Raquel C. Bono has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). Bono is currently serving as deputy director, Medical Resources, Plans, and Policy Division, N931B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.
Navy Capt. John G. King has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). King is currently serving as deputy commander, fleet logistics operations, N4, Navy Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Navy Capt. Rebecca J. McCormick-Boyle has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). McCormick-Boyle is currently serving as deputy chief, education and training, bureau of medicine and surgery, Washington, D.C.
