Maj. Gen. Gary S. Patton to principal director, Military Personnel Policy, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, Washington, D.C. He most recently served as deputy commander for Army, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Training Mission - Afghanistan/Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan.
Maj. Gen. Michael J. Walsh, commanding general, U.S. Army Engineer Division, Mississippi Valley, Vicksburg, Miss., to deputy commanding general for Civil and Emergency Operations, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Washington, D.C.
Brig. Gen. Brian J. Donahue, director, J-6, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., to chief of staff, Defense Information Systems Agency, Fort Meade, Md.
