General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Gen. William M. Fraser III for reappointment to the rank of general and for assignment as commander, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Fraser is currently serving as commander, Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
