            Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced the following Department of Defense Senior Executive Service appointment:

            George E. Little has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service and is assigned as deputy assistant secretary of defense (press secretary), Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs), Washington, D.C.  Little previously served as director of public affairs, Central Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C.
