SECRETARY COHEN'S TRIP TO ASIA
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will depart Washington on Wednesday, Nov. 12, to visit the Republic of Korea, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan.
In Korea, Cohen will participate in the Security Consultative Meetings, consult with senior Republic of Korea and U.S. military officials, and visit with U.S. service members in the country. Following meetings in Korea, Cohen will visit China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan for meetings with senior government and military officials.
Cohen will return to the U.S. on Sunday, Nov. 23.
