General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Air Force Lt. Gen. Janet C. Wolfenbarger has been nominated for appointment to the rank of general and for assignment as commander, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Wolfenbarger is currently serving as military deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
