Flag Officer Assignments

            Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced today the following assignments: 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Charles K. Carodine will be assigned as reserve assistant deputy chief of naval operations for fleet readiness and logistics, N4R, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Carodine is currently serving as deputy commander, Naval Warfare Development Command, Norfolk, Va. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Anatolio B. Cruz III, will be assigned as reserve deputy commander for fleet and joint operations, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va.  Cruz is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/deputy commander, Fourth Fleet, Mayport, Fla. 

            Capt. Robert L. Greene, who has been selected for the rank of rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as deputy for operations/battle staff director, U.S. European Command, Stuttgart, Germany.  Greene is currently serving as senior advisor for anti-terrorism/force protection, Navy Reserves, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Brian Laroche will be assigned as reserve deputy commander, Navy Surface Force Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.  Laroche is currently serving as deputy commander, Military Sealift Command, Washington, D.C. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Mark L. Leavitt will be assigned as commander, Naval Air Forces Reserve, San Diego, Calif.  Leavitt is currently serving as reserve chief of staff, Naval Air Forces/Naval Air Force U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Calif. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Scott P. Moore will be assigned as deputy commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, San Diego, Calif.  Moore is currently serving as deputy chief, Office of the Defense Representative-Pakistan, U.S. Central Command, Islamabad, Pakistan.  

            Capt. Douglas G. Morton, who has been selected for the rank of rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.  Morton is currently serving as chief of staff to the commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Christopher J. Paul, who has been selected for the rank of rear admiral, will be assigned as reserve deputy commander naval surface force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Calif.  Paul is currently serving as deputy commander, Navy Surface Force, Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) Glenn C. Robillard will be assigned as director, Logistics Program and Operations Division, N41, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C.  Robillard is currently serving as deputy chief of staff for logistics, fleet supply, and ordnance, N4, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. 

            Rear Adm. (lower half) John C. Sadler will be assigned as director, Maritime Partnership Program, U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Africa, Naples, Italy.  Sadler is currently serving as deputy commander, Naval Air Forces/deputy commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Calif.
