General Officer Announcements
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Air Force Maj. Gen. Christopher C. Bogdan for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and for assignment as director, Joint Strike Fighter Program, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Arlington, Va. Bogdan is currently serving as deputy director, Joint Strike Fighter Program, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Arlington, Va.
Air Force Brig. Gen. Andrew M. Mueller has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Mueller is currently serving as component commander, E3A, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Airborne Early Warning and Control Force Command, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Geilenkirchen, Germany.
