General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Air Force Col. Jon A. Weeks has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general and for assignment as mobilization assistant to the commander, 23rd Air Force/director of operations, Air Force Special Operations Command, Hurlbert Field, Fla.
