General Officer Assignment
The chief of staff, Air Force announced today the following assignment:
Brig. Gen. Balan R. Ayyar, commander, Air Force Recruiting Service and director, Recruiting, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, to rule of law deputy, U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, U.S. Central Command, Kabul, Afghanistan.
