United States military forces will participate in the Asian Aerospace (AA98) airshow to be held Feb. 24 - March 1, 1998 at Singapore's Changi Exhibition Center.
Military personnel and equipment from the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force will participate.
Scheduled aircraft static displays include the F-16C Fighting Falcon, F-15C Eagle, F-15E Strike Eagle, KC-135 Stratotanker, P-3 Orion, AH-64D Apache, CH-47D Chinook and UH-60l Black Hawk.
An F-16 is also scheduled to perform a daily aerial capabilities demonstration.
A B-1 Lancer, F-117 Nighthawk and KC-10 Extender may take part, but have not yet been confirmed.
Aircraft from USS Independence were scheduled to take part until the carrier was ordered to the Arabian Gulf Jan. 23.

The U.S. Air Force band of the Pacific-Asia, based at Yokota Air Base, Japan, will also perform during the public days, on Feb. 28 and March 1.
