Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon A. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. William H. Hilarides for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C. Hilarides is currently serving as special assistant to the deputy chief of Naval operations for information dominance, N2/N6, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
