Flag Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Navy Rear Adm. Joseph P. Aucoin for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and for assignment as deputy chief of naval operations for Warfare Systems, N9, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Aucoin is currently serving as director, Programming Division, N80, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
