GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that he has approved the appointment of Lt. Gen. Kenneth E. Eickmann, U.S. Air Force, on the retired list in the grade of lieutenant general effective June 1, 1998.
Eickmann is currently serving as commander, Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Eickmann was born July 18, 1945, San Antonio, Texas.
