Flag Officer Assignments

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan W. Greenert announced Sept. 24 the following assignments:

Rear Adm. (lower half) Lawrence B. Jackson will be assigned as reserve deputy director, Warfare Integration Division, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, N9I, Washington, District of Columbia. Jackson is currently serving as deputy commander, Military Sealift Command, Washington, District of Columbia.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Daniel J. MacDonnell will be assigned as commander, Information Dominance Corps Reserve Command, Fort Worth, Texas. MacDonnell is currently serving as Reserve deputy commander, U.S. 10th Fleet, Fort Meade, Maryland.

Capt. Gene F. Price, selected for the rank of rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as Reserve deputy commander, U.S. 10th Fleet, Fort Meade, Maryland. Price previously served as deputy senior inspector, Information Dominance Corps Reserve Command, Fort Worth, Texas.

Capt. Thomas G. Reck, selected for the rank of rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as director, Maritime Partnership Program, U.S. Naval Forces Europe/Africa, Naples, Italy. Reck previously served as Reserve chief of staff, U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Virginia.

Capt. Linda R. Wackerman, selected for the rank of rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as Reserve deputy director, Assessment Division, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, N81R, Washington, District of Columbia. Wackerman previously served as commander, Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer Program, Washington, District of Columbia.
