ACTIVE, GUARD, RESERVE FORCES JOIN BULGARIAN ARMED FORCES FOR EXERCISE CORNERSTONE '98
Headquarters, U.S. European Command military members, along with forces from the Tennessee National Guard and New Jersey Naval Reserve will join with Bulgarian armed forces for Exercise Cornerstone '98, a joint and combined engineering exercise to be held June 30 through August 6, 1998.
This exercise is being conducted in the spirit of the Partnership for Peace Program, and as part of the state partnership between Tennessee and Bulgaria.
During this exercise, active Air Force, Army, Navy, Tennessee National Guard, Naval Reserve and Bulgarian engineers will renovate the regional hospital in Trun, Bulgaria.
