GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Gen. Ralph E. Eberhart, U.S. Air Force, for reappointment to the grade of general with assignment as Commander, Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, Va. Eberhart is currently assigned as Vice Chief of Staff, United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
