GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT

Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Reserve Brig. Gen. Jack A. Davis for promotion to major general.

Davis is currently assigned as commander, Marine Corps Logistics Bases, Albany, Ga.
