GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Michael E. Zettler, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy chief of staff, Installations and Logistics, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Zettler is currently assigned as commander, Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
