GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Col. John C. Scroggins for promotion to brigadier general.
Scroggins is currently assigned as the deputy chief of staff, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, N.C.
