GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Timothy J. Maude for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy chief of staff for Personnel, U. S. Army, Washington, D.C.
Maude is currently serving as the assistant deputy chief of staff for Personnel, U. S. Army, Washington, D. C.
