GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Maj. Gen. Dan K. McNeill for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as commanding general, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, Fort Bragg, N. C.
McNeill is currently serving as the commanding general, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg.
