FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Rear Adm. Joseph W. Dyer, U.S. Navy, for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as commander, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD. Dyer is currently serving as assistant commander for Systems and Engineering, Naval Air Systems Command and commander, Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD.
