GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Brig. Gen. Paul W. Essex for promotion to major general.
Essex is currently assigned as mission area director, Global Reach, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
