GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Lt. Gen. Donald L. Kerrick, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy assistant to the President for National Security Affairs and deputy national security advisor, Washington, D. C. Kerrick is currently serving as the assistant to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C.
