FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT

Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Navy Vice Adm. Scott A. Fry for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as director, Joint Staff, in the Pentagon. Fry is currently serving as director for Operations, J3, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C.
