GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Air Force Maj. Gen. Glen W. Moorhead III for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as vice commander, United States Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein AB, Germany. Moorhead is currently assigned as assistant deputy chief of staff, air and space operations, Headquarters United States Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
