GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has nominated Army Col. Jeffrey J. Schloesser for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Schloesser was previously assigned as the commander, 12th Aviation Brigade, V Corps, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Wiesbaden, Germany, and is enroute to his current assignment at the Office of Military Cooperation, Kuwait.
