GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen announced today that the President has made the following nominations:
Air Force Maj. Gen. John H. Campbell has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with continuing assignment as associate director of Central Intelligence for Military Support, Central Intelligence Agency.
Air Force Maj. Gen. John D. Hopper, Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general with assignment as vice commander, Air Education and Training Command, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Texas. Hopper is currently serving as commander, Twenty-First Air Force, Air Mobility Command, McGuire AFB, N.J.
