GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Michael E. Ryan announced today that Air Force Maj. Gen. Walter E. L. Buchanan III is being assigned as director, Operations and Training, Deputy Chief of Staff, Air and Space Operations, Headquaters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Buchanan is currently serving as special assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Air and Space Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
