FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Rear Adm. Alfred G. Harms, Jr., for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as chief of naval education and training in Pensacola, Fla. Harms is currently serving as director, assessment division, N81, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
