GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has made the following nomination:
Army Reserve Col. Lawrence J. Johnson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Johnson is currently serving as the deputy commander, 89th Regional Support Command, Wichita, Kans.
