FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Vice Adm. Patricia A. Tracey for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as director, Navy Staff, N09B, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. Tracey is currently serving as deputy assistant secretary of defense for Military and Personnel Policy, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
