GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS - MAJOR GENERALS

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Emerson N. Gardner Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Gardner is currently serving as deputy commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Richard A. Huck has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Huck is currently serving as chief of staff, U.S. Southern Command, Miami, Fla.

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Stephen T. Johnson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Johnson is currently serving as director, Manpower Plans and Policy Division, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Bradley M. Lott has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Lott is currently serving as commander, Marine Corps Materiel Command, Albany, Ga.

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Keith J. Stalder has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Stalder is currently serving as deputy director, Plans and Policy (J-5), U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.

Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Joseph F. Weber has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general. Weber is currently serving as commanding general, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, Calif.

BRIGADER GENERALS

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Marine Corps Col. George J. Flynn has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Flynn is currently serving as military secretary to the commandant of the Marine Corps, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, D.C.

Marine Corps Col. John F. Kelly has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Kelly is currently serving as assistant chief of staff, G-3, Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Marine Corps Col. Maryann Krusadossin has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Krusadossin is currently serving as assistant chief of staff, Marine Corps Community Services, Headquarters & Support Battalion, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Marine Corps Col. Frank A. Panter, Jr. has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Panter is currently serving as commanding officer, Marine Wing Support Group 27, 2d Marine Aircraft Wing, Cherry Point, N.C.

Marine Corps Col. Charles S. Patton has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Patton is currently serving as commanding officer, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, I Marine Expeditionary Forces, Camp Pendleton, Calif.

Marine Corps Col. Mastin M. Robeson has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Robeson is currently serving as deputy commander, 4th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Marine Corps Col. Terry G. Robling has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Robling is currently serving as chief of staff, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Miramar, Calif.

Marine Corps Col. Richard T. Tryon has been nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Tryon is currently serving as commanding officer, Marine Barracks 8th &I, Washington, D.C.
