FLAG OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Vern Clark announced today that Navy Rear Adm. (selectee) Kirkland H. Donald is being assigned as commander, Submarine Group Eight and commander, Allied Submarines, Mediterranean. Donald is currently assigned as deputy chief of staff for C4I, resources, requirements, and assessments, N6/N8, U.S. Pacific Fleet.
