SECRETARY RUMSFELD STATEMENT ON REPRESENTATIVE STUMP
Bob Stump has served the people of Arizona with distinction for 26 years in the U.S. House of Representatives and 17 years in the Arizona Legislature. I have worked closely with him over the past two years in his capacity as chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, where he has been an effective advocate for a strong national defense and a dedicated supporter of our men and women in uniform. I have come to appreciate his judgment and counsel, and I wish him well in the future.
