GENERAL OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS

Army Chief of Staff Gen. Eric K. Shinseki announced today the following assignments:

Army Brig. Gen. Dorian T. Anderson is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Total Army Personnel Command, Alexandria, Va. Anderson is currently serving as director, Officer Personnel Management Directorate, U.S. Total Army Personnel Command, Alexandria, Va.

Army Brig. Gen. Guy M. Bourn is being assigned as chief, Office of Military Cooperation, Egypt. Bourn is currently serving as commanding general, III Corps Artillery, Ft. Sill, Okla.

Army Brig. Gen. John M. Brown III is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Alaska and deputy commander, U.S. Alaskan Command, Ft. Richardson, Alaska. Brown is currently serving as deputy commanding general for Transformation, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, Ft. Lewis, Wash.

Army Brig. Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody is being assigned as commanding general, Military Traffic Management Command, Alexandria, Va. Dunwoody is currently serving as commanding general, 1st Corps Support Command, XVIII Airborne Corps, Ft. Bragg, N.C.

Army Brig. Gen. Thomas G. Miller is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Japan/9th Theater Support Command, Japan. Miller is currently serving as deputy commanding general, First U.S. Army, Ft. Gillem, Ga.

Army Brig. Gen. Walter Wojdakowski is being assigned as deputy commanding general, V Corps, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany. Wojdakowski is currently serving as assistant division commander (forward), 24th Infantry Division (Mechanized) and deputy commanding general (south), First U.S. Army, Ft. Jackson, S.C.
