Army Chief of Staff Eric K. Shinseki announced today the following assignments:
Army Brig. Gen. Keith M. Huber is being assigned as deputy commanding general, First U.S. Army, Fort Gillem, Ga. Huber is currently serving as assistant division commander (Operations), 10th Mountain Division (Light), Fort Drum, N.Y.
Army Brig. Gen. (select) John A. Macdonald is being assigned as director, Korea Regional Office, Installation Management Agency, Korea. Macdonald was previously assigned as the chief of staff, Second Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army, Korea.
Army Brig. Gen. (select) Ervin Pearson is being assigned as deputy chief of staff, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany. Pearson was previously assigned as the chief, Operating Forces, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller, Washington, D.C. He was previously announced for assignment as the director, Operations and Support, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management and Comptroller, Washington, D.C.
