GENERAL OFFICER ASSIGNMENTS
Army Chief of Staff Eric K. Shinseki announced today that Army Maj. Gen. Joe G. Taylor, Jr. is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, Fort Belvoir, Va. Taylor is currently serving as chief, Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, D.C.
BRIGADIER GENERAL
Army Chief of Staff Eric K. Shinseki announced today that Army Brig. Gen. Guy C. Swan III is being assigned as chief, Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, D.C. He was previously announced for assignment as the deputy chief, Legislative Liaison, Office of the Secretary of the Army, Washington, D.C. Swan is currently serving as commanding general, 7th Army Training Command, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
