This week the Air Force and the Marine Corps each announce an increase of reservists on active duty in support of the partial mobilization, while the Army announces a decrease, and the Navy reports no change. The net collective result is 451 more reservists than last week.
The total number of reservists currently on active duty in support of the partial mobilization for the Army National Guard and Army Reserve is 24,677; Naval Reserve, 5,330; Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, 16,544; Marine Corps Reserve, 3,843; and the Coast Guard Reserve, 679. This brings the total Reserve and National Guard on active duty to 51,073 including both units and individual augmentees.
At any given time, services may mobilize some units and individuals while demobilizing others, making it possible for these figures to either increase or decrease
